I have spent most of my career as an editorial designer and art director, including fourteen years with Christianity Today magazine. The journalistic environment, steeped in rich interaction with writers and editors, taught me the way of collaboration—the key ingredient to any successful creative project. Journalism has also taken me across the globe—sometimes to teach (design and photography), and at other times to photograph stories for publication. These cross-cultural experiences have made me a better listener and communicator, something I strive for in every creative collaboration.
Based on three decades of experience in design, photography, and visual strategizing, my goal is to serve the needs of a diverse clientele, ranging from editorial (books and magazines), corporate communications (branding, marketing, in-house media), as well as communications for the global non-profit sector.
